The North Face of Moffit. During our visit, the precipitation did not stop for long enough for the avalanches to stop. The Brian Teale route goes up the waterfall at the bottom of the face, then right for easier climbing under seracs. Our hope was to trend left after the ice, following the ramp above the granite wall. The granite wall is over 1200 metres tall and very smooth, but occasionally sports a futuristic system of ice smears. Photo by Jeff Benowitz.
